Welcome to Closet Confessions!
When I sat at my computer and I let my eyes bore deeply into the pixels, I knew I needed to do something about my current flunk.
I was tired, on uni break and I had spent 5 hours reading plus-size blogs from America. Everyone seemed so sexy and fun and when I looked at myself, I felt flabby, unattractive and a bit boring.
Normally, I had a great style and recieved lots of compliments. I needed a place to share the ups and downs of my wardrobe, and that’s when I found XL as Life. Natalie and I have become great friends, but she was the main reason I started blogging. She was personal, she share her life, she shared her fashion, she shared her ups and her downs. I connected with her, and with her guidence I started my blog.
Closet Confessions launched on January 11th, 2011 with a simple, and boring layout and a a few weeks (or months) of blurry photographs and pictures of things I lusted for. Soon, I was blogging all the time and as time took over, I started to blog even more.
Closet Confessions is now a regular, twice-per-week (I try!) blog page dedicated to the life, fashion and creative adventures of Caitlin Bradley. Caitlin shares her fashion sins, her fashion wins and the things she loves. She shares the art that inspires her, the things she makes, the things she sees and the things she craves. Closet Confessions is her place to share advice, her experiences and her emotions. The blog is constantly growing and evolving as she tackles university and the world around her.
After only blogging for around a year, Closet Confessions was lucky enough to be selected out of hundreds of applicants to be part of Full Figured Fashion Week’s VIP Fashion Front, a blogging position of 15 International bloggers for a week of plus size fashion in New York. The event took place in July 2012.
