Lace Flair.

If you’re a follower of Closet Confessions, you’ll know I’m not much of a dress or skirt girl. I like the freedom of wearing a pair of trousers or jeans and the effort associated with wearing a skirt or dress just irks me. I want to sit how I want and move how I want. But dresses always catch my eye. I love the feel and the ideas behind them, and they always end up coming home with me, but I can’t justify wearing them constantly. I’m trying to change this. I honestly am! When I saw this dress on The Iconic, I knew I wanted it on my body. It was simple and it looked easy to manipulate into different looks. I like the elastic waist and the lace detail. I liked the length and I was willing to give it a go.

The Fit n Flare dress by Wonderlust has a silky, soft touch on the skin. The lace doesn’t irritate my (sensitive) skin and after a day of wear still looks as it was when I pulled it on (minus a few wrinkles). The lace has a cap sleeve effect and feels really soft against the tops of my arms. At first I am worried the elastic around the waist would irritate or dig into me, but it is stretchy and comfortable for a full day of wear. The only downside I find is the sheer lace has no where for you to hide your bra straps, so instead I just wear a black bra and my hair down. The rayon and nylon fabric makes the skirt of the dress move with my body and the sizing is generous. I am wearing the Fit n Flare dress in a size 20 and I should have gone down a size. The Fit n Flare dress is available from The Iconic and retails for $89.00. You can purchase it here.IMG_9857 IMG_9860 Fit n Flare Dress - Wonderlust via The Iconic – Size 20 – $89.00 – Gifted
