I love to clash patterns. I’m not sure when this all started, but to be honest, I don’t feel like myself in something conservative or something without patterns. The visual texture keeps my energy levels up and gets me excited for the day. To me, this outfit is a bit of fun. Dressing on the side of the road, I didn’t see how to shirt and belt sat together, but that isn’t an issue for me. I love this top I picked up from ASOS CURVE earlier this year. I wore it in New York and it was perfect for the hot summer weather. I thought I’d try a ‘peplum’ look with it, but next time I’ll try with a wider belt.
And the skirt? Well, this is the Harlequin Skirt from Virtu and I am in LOVE. Slimming vertical stripes, stretchy yet highly supportive fabric. I’m not a fan (normally) of slim line skirts, but I like the way this one feels on my body.
