“You must not for one instant give up the effort to build new lives for yourselves. Creativity means to push open the heavy, groaning doorway to life.”
— Daisaku Ikeda
I’ve been opening and closing many doors of my life in the past few weeks. I’ve taken a bit of time to do some soul searching, which may seem a tad inward or strange, but I believe that sometimes we all need to look into ourselves in order to progress. There have been some amazing things that have begun to happen in my life, some big changes that are exciting and thrill me, and other things that scare me. I try not to go ‘deep’ on Closet Confessions, but I guess what I am trying to say is that, no matter how hard your life may be, of how many challenges may be on your heels or things that may be overwhelming you, that it’s okay to take a deep breath and recompose. After all, we are all strong, and we are all beautiful. And if you need a bit of a good ‘mantra’ for the week, try this amazing advert from a few years ago, thanks to Nike. Love your life.
