MOMA & Guggenheim

The Solomon Guggenheim wouldn’t let me take photographs anywhere inside except for the first floor, but the Abstract exhibition was breathtaking. Lots of works I had not seen before and others I had only seen in photographs and textbooks. The building itself is fantastic, and very easy to navigate. I loved that everyone stood back to let others take a closer look. Its nice when an art gallery and its patrons have respect for those who have a strong appreciation for art and allow them to have a closer look at the work if desired.

MOMA on the other hand encouraged patrons to use and engage with their cameras and social media in the gallery. I was in tears the entire time as I stood infront of works I had studied for years. It was a beautiful gallery, well presented and I wished I had longer to explore and admire.
