OOTD: Black & Red
I’m still a bit of a goth. I honestly can’t help it. It’s been years since I had an emo fringe and black hair and racoon eye makeup, but I always fall back to black and red when I’m feeling fabulous.
I recently fulfilled a dream of owning a pair of creepers. I remember staring at Greenday posters and lusting over Tre Cools footwear. Now I own a pair. I’m seriously in love.
The red jacket is my new travel companion for New York. It’s light, comfortable and totally comfortable. It’s from Virtu and basically I ripped it from the wall at the Mid City store and knew it had to be mine.

The story about my creepers:
I had been looking for a pair of good quality creepers when a friend of mine let me know about Furr. I’d heard of Furr at Newtown before, but I hadn’t been before. I sent the team an email to ask about their stock, if they had full size ranges and such and I got a response a few hours later that really impressed me. Joey emailed me and told me prices, sizes and styles they had instore, and I grabbed my umbrella and jumped on the train to Newtown straight away. I was really impressed by the amount of stock they had, and they had everything from gorgeous Bordello heels, to sexy latex-looking dresses, to boots and creepers and lots of gorgeous accesories. Joey was really helpful with sizes and styles, and I tried on atleast 5 pairs before I made up my mind on the black suede 2-inch platform. I was tempted by the black and leopard print, but went for the black instead. They had an amazing range, from fluro pink leopard print, to yellow and lime green and gorgeous white and black ones too. I wanted them all, but my heart settled on the black, which I just can’t stop wearing!
If you’re looking for a good quality pair of creepers, I really suggest trying Furr Hair at Newtown. Mine are leather and they only cost me about $125.00. I saw a pair at another store that were plastic and wern’t as nice and they were the same price! The service at Furr was amazing and the experiance of Newtown is worth it too!
You can find Furr Hair at Newtown at 168 King Street, Newtown and contact them on 02 9519 3343 or email them using this page. Joey also let me know they will be soon having an online store, which is totally awesome! Cannot wait to see it up and running!
I was not sponsored to post this about Furr Hair. Honestly, I was really appreciative of Joey’s patience with me trying the shoes on, the store environment and the way I felt as a customer. All of these words are my own and I just wanted to share the experiance with my readers, because good customer service is hard to find all the time!
